On Monday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m., Mentone author Cathy Haven Howard will discuss her books: Spirit Expression for EveryOne—A Guide to Living a Soul-driven Life; Get Your Love On—How to Increase the Power of Love in Your Life; and Living the Truth of Who You Really Are, Book One: How to Live from Inside Out with Money, Work and the Body.

When Cathy was asked for her 6th grade graduation publication about what she wanted to be, she said an “authoress.” The solitude of living in the woods in Mentone for the past 19 years has allowed her to write three books and she is currently working on her first novel and another non-fiction book.

Cathy will share her practices of using meditation as a method for her writing, as well as what she has learned about the world of self-publishing, e-books, and personal sacred texts.

Cathy is retired from a career in child abuse prevention and family support during which she served in many leadership capacities at the state and local levels. She is the founder of Spirit Expression Ministry based in Mentone at Heartwood Sanctuary.

There is no charge for this program. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy Cathy’s books. Light refreshments, coffee, and tea will be served.
