Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying this holiday season thus far. The weather has that bracing feel, colorful lights are everywhere and holiday goodies are tempting me at every turn…ah, how wonderful. This is also that time of year when curling up with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book or DVD makes the season complete. Here at your Community Library we have just what you need, and they are Santa-approved!
The Midnight Line
Lee Child’s latest Jack Reacher novel is a powerhouse of a thriller. Reacher takes a stroll through a small Wisconsin town and sees a class ring in a pawn shop: West Point 2005. A tough year to graduate: Iraq, then Afghanistan. The ring is for a woman with her initials engraved inside. Reacher decides to find the woman and return her ring, and discover why she gave up the ring. The deeper he digs, and the more he learns, the more dangerous the terrain becomes. Turns out the ring was just a small link in a far darker chain.
The Rooster Bar
John Grisham’s newest legal thriller takes you inside a law firm that’s on shaky ground. Mark, Todd, and Zola came to law school to change the world, to make it a better place. But now, as third-year students, these close friends realize they have been duped. Maybe there’s a way out—but they would first have to quit law school. Crazy, right? Pull up a stool, grab a cold one, and get ready spend some time at the Rooster Bar.
Turtles All The Way Down
In his long-awaited return, John Green, the acclaimed, award-winning author of Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars, shares Aza’s story with shattering, unflinching clarity in this brilliant novel of love, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendship.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell NoTales
The final adventure begins. Set sail with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) as deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea--notably, Jack—in an epic story packed with humor, suspense and amazing special effects. Rated PG-13.
From Disney-Pixar comes an epic adventure packed with heart, hilarity, and full-throttle fun. Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers led by arrogant hotshot Jackson Storm, the legendary Lightening McQueen (Owen Wilson) is suddenly sidelined and pushed from the sport he loves. To get back on track, he’ll need the help of eager young racing technician Cruz Ramirez. Loaded with unforgettable characters and spectacular animation. Rated G.
