It is that time of year to reflect on all we have and here at your Community Library that is just what we are doing. From all of us at the library, we would like to say ‘thank you’. Thank you to those who have donated books, purchased books, and borrowed books and movies. Thanks, too, to the knitters, game players, patrons, and volunteers for the just plain ol’ great energy that each one of you shares with us. We are grateful for everyone. It is all of you who make our library so great.

So, at this time, please accept our deepest appreciation and our thanks for all you do to keep your Community Library humming along. Here’s what we have for you this month; also check out our Facebook page for ongoing happenings.

Books
A Column of Fire
Ken Follett, who has enthralled millions with The Pillars of The Earth, continues the saga with a magnificent new epic. The story is again set in the Middle Ages, in the fictional city of Kingbridge during one of the most turbulent and revolutionary times in history. This will delight longtime fans of the Kingbridge series and is a perfect introduction for readers new to Follett’s work.

Origin
Whoever you are. Whatever you believe. Everything is about to change. This next novel by bestselling Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code, is stunningly inventive and one of Brown’s most brilliant and entertaining novels to date. Once again Robert Landon, now in Balboa, Spain, must follow a trail illuminated by modern art and enigmatic symbols that ultimately leads him to a shocking discovery and the breathtaking truth that has long eluded us.

The Girl Who Takes An Eye For An Eye
This is the latest in the continuing Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series. Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blonkvist return in this furiously-paced fifth book in the internationally best-selling series that began with Larsson’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Lisbeth is not given to forgiveness. And now she is prepared to exact some revenge with a cold fury.

DVDs
Wonder Woman
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, raised on a sheltered island paradise and trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true identity. Rated PG-13.

John Wick 2
You asked for the next installment, and here it is. Legendary hit man John Wick is forced out of retirement again by a former associate. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome to square off with some of the deadliest killers. Rated R.

Game of Thrones—Season Six
This year, after the shocking developments at the end of season five, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essex regroup to press forward towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters emerge to challenge the balance of power. Rated 16+.

Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
Jimmy Neutron is trying to make contact with an alien civilization. Unbeknownst to him, a satellite he launches (okay, it’s the kitchen toaster, but it works) is picked up by an alien species. Jimmy and the rest of the kids in Retroville take to the skies on a trip that’s sure to be a blast. Rated G.

There you have it folks. May your Thanksgiving be filled with lots of turkey and the blessings of the season. Again, thank you all for your support of your Community Library this year.
